I would like to request an exception to the 1.37 code freeze deadline for KEP-5855.

Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: The implementation is complete and has been fully reviewed. The PR has both lgtm and approve labels. It only needed a rebase to resolve binary .pb file conflicts with upstream master, which has now been done. No code changes are required, only the mechanical rebase was pending.

Risks from adding code late: Low. The feature is behind an alpha feature gate (VolumeBindMountOptions, disabled by default). Changes are well-contained in kubelet/CRI plumbing and do not affect existing behavior when the gate is off.

Risks from cutting enhancement: Would delay the feature to 1.38, requiring re-review and re-approval. The implementation is fully complete with API review and sig-node approval.
