Hello Kubernetes Community,

“They say that there can never be two snowflakes that are exactly alike, but has anyone checked lately?”
― Terry Pratchett, Wintersmith

Unrelated to snowflakes- The Code Freeze and Test Freeze milestone for Kubernetes 1.33 release cycle is approaching, starting at 02:00 UTC Friday 21st March 2025 (19:00 PDT Thursday 20th March 2025).

Please make sure your kubernetes/kubernetes pull requests for KEPs and any major changes targeting v1.33 are merged by then.

If you think you may miss the deadline, you are highly encouraged to file an exception request ahead of time!

Pull requests that have the “approved” label at the deadline will *not need* to file exceptions.

Please reach out to us on Slack in the #sig-release channel if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Nina Polshakova
