Kubernetes Contributor Awards 2026 Nomination

Dear Kubernetes Leads, 

The Kubernetes Contributor Awards are presented at this year's Maintainer  Summit [1]. (Note: The website is not up yet.)

This is where you as SIG leads come in. We love to recognize our fellow contributors, and we need your help. Please nominate award recipients for your SIG. Each SIG can nominate up to three recipients.
You can do the nomination in this form [2]; please complete it at the latest by July 31st. 

This is a great way to highlight the areas or types of contributions your SIG encourages and values.

See the Contributor Awards Ceremony playbook for guidance on nominations [3].

A few things to keep in mind:

1. Please discuss with your fellow SIG leads on nominations and submit one form per SIG.
2. Keep the reason for nomination concise. A few sentences that capture the "why" is enough. We don't need a full essay, just enough for the ceremony.

Awardees will be notified and sent a form asking for their address to ship the award to.
