Hello Kubernetes community,
It's my pleasure to announce that Kubernetes v1.33: Octarine (The Color of Magic) has been released and is now available. You can find more details in the announcement blog article[0] and in the release notes [1].
Packages for v1.33.0 are available via the GitHub Release page [2]. Debian and
RPM packages are available through the corresponding package managers. For
details, please refer to the Branch Managers' announcement [3].
The code freeze for v1.33 has now been lifted, and both kubernetes/kubernetes and kubernetes/website have been thawed.
It was my great honor to serve as the release lead for v1.33 alongside everyone in the release team [4]. Thank you all for your dedication and hard work throughout the release. I learned so much from each of you and feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of such a thoughtful, kind, and collaborative release team.
I’d also like to thank the SIG Release leadership, all the SIG Leads and Chairs, and the entire community for working on this release and making Kubernetes what it is: an open-source project driven by people, passion, and maybe just a little bit of magic.
Thanks all,
Nina Polshakova
