Hi all,

As an effort to better communicate on deprecation policy, the
ingress-nginx maintainers would like to announce the deprecation of
AJP Protocol as a valid backend:
https://github.com/kubernetes/ingress-nginx/issues/10098

The NGINX AJP module is not developed since 2021, and in fact, it is a
particular feature just for Java backends, which can be achieved using
an HTTP endpoint.

Please make sure that your users are aware of this deprecation before
upgrading for the next Ingress NGINX release.

Best regards,
Ricardo, on behalf of Ingress NGINX maintainers

This depreciation will be in 1.9.0

Thanks,
James
