SIG-etcd Leadership Update

Hi Community,

On behalf of the SIG-etcd leadership, I would like to nominate Fu Wei (@fuweid) as a co-Tech lead of SIG-etcd.

Fu Wei has made many important contributions to the etcd project and community over time. A few notable examples include:

- Collaborating with other maintainers to complete the migration from gogo/protobuf to the standard protobuf.

- Resolved the long-standing zombie member issue.

- Diagnosed and fixed some complex issues that required deep expertise and understanding of etcd internals.

In addition to these contributions, Fu Wei has consistently demonstrated strong technical expertise, ownership, collaboration, and long-term commitment to the project.

The lazy consensus deadline of this proposal is in two weeks, June 11th, 2026.
