Dear Kubernetes Community,

Friendly reminder: The Test Freeze for the 1.29 release cycle is today at 01:00 UTC / 18:00 PDT [1].

Quick overview of the test freeze:

  • Test freeze marks the point after which no more tests may be changed or promoted to Conformance, except for release-blocking or exceptional reasons.
  • Post this date, the focus is on fixing, reverting, or removing failing tests.

Every merged PR, which is part of the current milestone (v1.29) and therefore merged into the master branch, will automatically move to the release branch via the periodic release branch fast forward job [2] in prow.

If you have any questions/concerns, please feel free to reply to this email or reach out to the Release Team on #sig-release [3] Kubernetes Slack.

Thanks,

Priyanka Saggu
