Kernel Module Management operator 2.6.0 is now live

Hello Kubernetes Community,

Kernel Module Management (KMM) operator v2.6.0 has been released and is now available.

This release includes the following improvements:

New Features
  • Add `imageRebuildTrigger` field to force module image rebuilds
  • Mount host kernel modules in build and worker pods
  • Add wildcard and glob pattern support for `filesToSign` in module signing
  • Allow configuring `AutomountServiceAccountToken` for DevicePlugin


Docs Updated
  • Add docs for `imageRebuildTriggerGeneration` field
  • Add documentation for running KMM on tainted worker nodes
  • Add documentation for `filesToSign` wildcard and glob pattern support
  • Documented the `AutomountServiceAccountToken` device-plugin option.


Security
  • Harden container securityContext


Bugs Fixed
  • Propagate tolerations through MIC/MBSC to build pods
  • Adding internal tolerations support
  • Removing node's ready labels on deletion for Modules with `.` in their name.
