There are several KubeCon-related things going on that you should know about.

For KubeCon NA 2025, there are two big opportunities for Kubernetes Contributors to interact with attendees:

If you are an active contributor in the community, please attend these events! Please also share these events with your communities to encourage attendees to come socialize with Kubernetes contributors!

For KubeCon EU 2026, several maintainer and contributor opportunities have CFPs open now, and closing on December 14th.

For Contributors, consider submitting a session to the Maintainer Summit CFP!

For Maintainers (SIG & WG Chairs/Leads, as indicated by this list), the Maintainer Track and Project Lightning Talk CFPs are open now. SIG Chairs & Leads should discuss within your SIG what you want to submit. Keep in mind, the requirements for the Maintainer Track state:

To submit, you must be a maintainer on the list for a CNCF Graduated or Incubating project.
The actual speaker(s) do not need active maintainer status but should be contributors to the project.
