Hello everyone,

I’m self-nominating for the 2026 Kubernetes Steering Committee Election.

I’ve been contributing directly to Kubernetes since 2020, and have been involved with the community in other ways (like helping at meetups) since about 2014. I’ve been a co-lead of the Comms subproject since 2022, and a Co-Chair of SIG ContribEx since 2023. I was honored to receive the “Chop Wood, Carry Water” award in 2023.

Some of my proudest accomplishments are initiatives that drive community health and growth, like creating the New Contributor Orientation program in 2024 (still running on the 3rd Tuesday of every month!), running and growing all the social media accounts for the project, and consistently showing up to lead 1+ meetings per week for the last 4+ years.

I'm running for Steering to continue to drive project-wide health, evolution, and sustainability.

Note that responding to this email does not help me get the endorsements I need to run! (Although I do find them heartwarming.)
