August 2026 Patch Releases

Dear Kubernetes community,

The August Kubernetes patch releases are being delayed to Wednesday, August 19. We allowed additional time to work with the code-owners of important cherry-picks that met the time and scope criteria, but that were unfortunately impacted by recent GitHub disruptions and related automation failures. 

Separately, we are aware of the Go updates released a few days ago. Rather than further delaying this week's releases, we will follow up with an additional patch release containing only the corresponding Go version updates.
