[ANNOUNCEMENT] Shadow application for the Kubernetes 1.26 Release Team is now open!

Hello everyone,

The shadow application for the Kubernetes 1.26 Release Team is now open!

Please fill out the application form to be considered as a shadow on the team. 

The application will remain open until Friday, September 2nd, 2022. We will notify all applicants of their status no later than Monday, September 12th, 2022.

While the release calendar has not been finalized, the release is planned to start on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022. The tentative release date for Kubernetes 1.26 is Tuesday, December 13th, 2022. Please keep these dates in mind when you consider your availability and time commitments. The dates are currently approximate and subject to change.
