Dear Kubernetes Community,

This is a reminder that we have deprecated and frozen the legacy package repositories (apt.kubernetes.io and yum.kubernetes.io) as of September 13, 2023 [1]. All upcoming Kubernetes releases, including the October patch releases (v1.28.3, v1.27.7, v1.26.10, v1.25.15) scheduled for the next week, will be published ONLY to the new community-owned package repositories (pkgs.k8s.io) [2].

These two announcements should cover everything that you need to know about this change. If you have any questions, you can reach out to us on the Kubernetes Slack [3] in the #release-management channel [4].

Thank you for understanding!

Marko Mudrinić,

On behalf of Kubernetes SIG Release
