Hi everyone,

I want to self-nominate for the 2022 Kubernetes Steering Committee Election.

I got involved with the Kubernetes community starting with sig cloud provider. I was working on the effort of moving in-tree cloud providers out-of-tree and won the 2020 Kubernetes contributors award which is a great honor for me. Then I got involved in sig-apimachinery and recently led the effort of moving CRD Validation Expression Language to Beta. 

Along the way, I have also served the release team for a couple releases. I have led the release notes team in 1.23 and helped to improve the release process in multiple areas. Recently, I have served as Kubernetes 1.25 release lead and helped Kubernetes 1.25 with a smooth release to my best.

I would love to serve the community further by being a member of the Steering Committee which would be a great honour for me. Please comment on the nomination issue if you would like to support my candidature [1].
