Howdy Kubernetes community! 👋

The Docs Freeze [1] milestone for the Kubernetes v1.37 release cycle is a week away, on Wednesday 5th August 2026 (Anywhere-on-Earth) / Thursday 6th August 2026 at 12:00 UTC.

Currently, we have 50 docs that are At Risk for Docs Freeze, which can be viewed here [2].

To meet the Docs Freeze, please make sure your kubernetes/website pull requests targeting the dev-1.37 branch [3] are either merged or have completed technical review, with both the lgtm and approve labels applied and no outstanding comments or concerns from SIG Docs.

Docs stats for v1.37:

▶️ Total KEPs tracked: 67

▶️ Completed (Merged / No Docs Needed): 17 (10 merged, 7 no docs needed)

⚠️ At Risk for Docs Freeze: 50 (2 Draft, 48 Ready for Review)

[ 🚥 Exception Requests ]

If you think you may miss the deadline, you are highly encouraged to file an exception request [4] ahead of time!

Please reach out to us on Slack in the #sig-release [5] or #release-docs [6] channels if you have any questions!

Thanks,
