[ANNOUNCEMENT] Kubernetes v1.28 Release Team Shadow Application Now Open

Hello everyone!

The shadow application for the Kubernetes v1.28 Release Team is now open!

Please fill out the application form to be considered as a shadow on the team.

While the release calendar has not been finalised, here is an overview of the release.

• Release Team Shadow Application Opens: 13th April 2023
• Release Team Shadow Application Closes: Tuesday 2nd May 2023 (23:59 UTC)
• Release Team Shadow Notifications send out latest until: 9th May 2023
• Release Cycle Start: 15th May 2023
• Release Cycle End: 15th August 2023 (approximate!)

The dates are subject to change. Keep an eye on the sig-release slack channel and k/sig-release repository for updates.
