Kubernetes Community,
The nominations for the Kubernetes Code of Conduct Committee members are now open[1].
We will be electing three individuals to serve 2-year terms starting from February 18, 2025.
We would like to thank Danielle Lancashire, Hilliary Lipsig, and Xander Grzywinski for their service on the committee, upholding our values, and mediating difficult situations.
Election and Nomination Information
Please refer to the Code of Conduct Committee charter[2], along with the bootstrapping documents[3] to learn more about how the committee came to be and how it currently functions.
All nominations must be submitted via this form[4], and nominees must meet the eligibility for candidacy[5] guidelines. Please ask for consent before nominating someone else. Self-nominations are also accepted.
Timeline
Monday, December 2 , 2024: Nominations Open
Friday, January 31, 2025: Nominations Close
Monday, February 3, 2025: Steering to confirm candidacy
Monday, February 10, 2025: Election Begins (via Elekto[6])
Monday, February 17, 2025: Election Closes
Tuesday, February 18, 2025: Announcement of results
By Thursday, February 20, 2025: CoCC to hold onboarding sessions for new members
