[ANNOUNCEMENT] Kubernetes 1.27 Release Team Shadow Application Now Open

Hey all!

The shadow application for the Kubernetes 1.27 Release Team is now open!

Please fill out the application form to be considered as a shadow on the team. 

The application will remain open until Tuesday 3rd January 2023. We will notify all applicants of their status no later than Tuesday 17th January 2023.

While the release calendar has not been finalised, the release is planned to start on Monday 9th January 2023. The tentative release date for Kubernetes 1.27 is Thursday 13th April 2023. Please keep these dates in mind when you consider your availability and time commitments. The dates are currently approximate and subject to change.
