Hi Kubernauts!
We’re excitedly back again with another KubeCon, this time in London, UK! Along with it, we’re hosting our second Maintainer Summit after a successful one in India. As part of our tradition, we invite you to help design the official Kubernetes T-Shirt logo for Maintainer Summit Europe 2025.
Submissions are due February 18th, 11:59 GMT!
Maintainer Summit Europe 2025 will be held on Monday, 31st March, alongside KubeCon + CloudNativeCon EU 2025 in London, UK. As usual, we invite the community to design a logo for the event.
The Maintainer Summits are a new initiative, organized and held to bring together cloud native project maintainers. They’re usually held alongside KubeCon events, since most of the contributor community is present on-site to participate at the event.
Logo Design:
The logo you design will be used on t-shirts for Kubernetes contributors attending the event, and may also be used on comms and for other Maintainer Summit - related purposes. It’s a great opportunity to represent the Kubernetes community!
The previous Kubernetes Contributor Summit logo designs are here [1].
Maintainer Summit attendance is not required to submit a logo design. You may submit as many designs as you like.
Logo submissions should follow these guidelines:
Vector (svg) format. Inkscape [2] is a free, open source tool that can be used to create vector graphics.
Use 3 colors (5 max). The cost of printing increases with each color added. The fewer colors you use, the more affordable it will be for the community to have swag produced.
The CNCF Code of Conduct [3] applies. Submissions that do not follow the code of conduct will not be considered.
No AI. AI-generated image content is not permitted in any form due to the likelihood of infringement. Do not use AI-generated imagery in any way in your design.
Theme:
Make sure it's Kubernetes-related! Some of you may wonder about the transition from Contributor Summits to the Maintainer Summits. While we’re working on sending you some official info about it, this logo would represent the Kubernetes community at the event. Often, the logo reflects the location it is being held in, but incorporating location themes is not required.
The final logo design will be selected by the Summit Staff team via voting. If you have any questions, please contact the #contributor-summit channel on Slack or by tagging Mario Fahlandt in the #krafternetes channel.
Submit your logo designs here [4]!
