• It is a blocker for driving DRA support to beta in KubeVirt
• Risks from adding code late: (to k8s stability, testing, etc.)
• The only risk for merging the KEP late is that it will shorten the feature development time for the implementation. 
• Risks from cutting enhancement: (partial implementation, critical customer usecase, etc.)
• Cutting the enhancement will delay the timeline of adopting DRA in beta in KubeVirt
