Beautification Day Success!

It’s a happy Saturday!

We had beautiful, if not perfect, weather for a great day outside at KP today!! A huge thank-you to everyone who came out today and pitched in to keep KP beautiful.

We filled our new planter garden—establishing a new home for native pollinators that we’ll see come to life this spring. We also weeded, transplanted plants that needed a better environment to thrive, and picked up trash around the entire school campus—truly a team effort that made a big difference!

A special shout-out to the local businesses who helped make this project possible and supported our green school initiatives:

• SRK Contracting gifted their labor to lay the brick and it looks amazing. 
  

• Hawkins Landscaping for donating all of the soil. 

• Strosniders and Johnson’s Nursery for donating the beautiful native plants. 

And most importantly, thank you to all of the volunteers who showed up with tools, wheelbarrows, and their helping hands. Everyone did an amazing job and worked very hard!
