Hi! Cedar Lane Nursery School (CLNS) is having our Fall Open House on November 1, 9:30-11:30am! We are now accepting applications for Fall 2026. If your child is going to be between the ages of 2 and 4 by September 1st, we would love to tell you more about our fantastic co-op! 

Here are some key features: 

• Founded in 1959, CLNS is committed to pursuing the highest quality of education for preschoolers. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the Maryland State Department of Education, and are a MD Excels Level 5 program.
• A strong community with long-standing teachers and welcoming families. Our teacher-director has been leading our school for over 20 years, and our other staff have been part of our community for decades as parents and teachers. Our director was recently awarded the "Innovative Leadership Excellence Award" at the Montgomery County Early Care and Education Excellence Awards!
• A curriculum that encourages creativity, growth and learning through play
• A beautiful wooded playground bordering Rock Creek Park filled with open-ended equipment
• Engaging classrooms full of books, toys, and diverse sensory activities
• Bilingual music lessons in English and Spanish
• Extended day until 2:30pm for children aged 3 and over
