PTA Communications
Hello KPES,
As many of you know, this will be my final newsletter and my final year chairing the Scholastic Book Fair. Thank you for tuning in, reading, contributing, volunteering, and helping make the past two years so memorable. It has truly been a pleasure serving this community.
Tomorrow is the last day of school! Students will enjoy an early release day and an end-of-year pizza party as we celebrate another successful school year together.
A special thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make Field Day such a success yesterday. It was wonderful to see our students having fun, working together, and creating lasting memories.
Congratulations to the KPES Class of 2026! We are so proud of our graduating 5th graders and all they have accomplished during their time at Kensington Parkwood. We wish you the very best as you begin your next chapter in middle school. Once a KP Cub, always a KP Cub!
As we head into summer, I wish all of our students, families, teachers, and staff a safe, relaxing, and joyful break. Thank you for everything you do to make KPES such a special place.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 for the start of another great school year!
Kindergarten Registration Is Still Open
Please help spread the word! If you have a child turning 5 before September 1, or know a friend, neighbor, or family member who does, please encourage them to register as soon as possible.
If you have already submitted your child's registration, you should receive a confirmation email within about a week. If you have not received confirmation, please contact the KPES office at 240-740-3700.
Strong kindergarten enrollment is essential for maintaining staff positions and resources at KPES, so timely registration makes a real difference.
Please also keep an eye out for information about our upcoming Kindergarten Playdate, a wonderful opportunity for incoming kindergarten families to meet, connect, and become familiar with our school community before the first day of school.
