KP Assembly

[KPPTA DEI Committee]

Good morning KP families, 

We wanted to let parents know about an upcoming assembly scheduled for next Wednesday 11/12 for KP. This was organized by the PTA DE&I committee in partnership with Ms. Wert. We are excited to welcome Jonah Berger next week. Details are below. Thanks! 

• "The Rhythm Within" is a presentation all about Inclusion, communicating who we are with others, and the Celebration of Differences!
• The program will be two approximately 45 min sessions (K-2 at 9:45am and 3-5 at 10:30am). He speaks and teaches the students all about his disability, then ties it into the idea that everyone has challenges, and we stand to learn so much from one another in so far as what we learn from facing those challenges. He finishes with a drumming and singing piece to leave them smiling!
