Hello everyone,

The Aspen Governing Board is seeking to join the Open Library Foundation (OLF) which will allow Aspen gain access to all the tools of a nonprofit without having to go through the painstaking process of creating a new nonprofit independently. As treasurer for the board, I have been put in charge of a working group to work with OLF to get this setup. I’m putting out a call to anyone interested in participating in this group. There will be paperwork that requires attention to detail and while the group will only last as long as it takes to join the OLF, there may be a fair amount of email and meetings to get everything sorted out, so availability to pitch in would be important. That said, this is an important step in taking the Aspen community to the next level, so please contact myself, Bryan, George, or Melissa (who are other board members participating in the working group) with any interest or questions.
