Two (2) scholarships remaining for PWD to attend Big(D)esign conference

The Big(D)esign conference is an annual web design and usability conference.  This year it is May 31- Jun 2 and in Dallas (hence the name).  They have made a strong commitment to supporting design issues for people with disabilities.  I will give an opening keynote and Knowbility will have an information table. Beyond talking about disability issues, the conference organizers are interested in increasing the participation of people with disabilities. 

To encourage people with disabilities to attend, Big (D)esign has arranged to waive the registration fee and provide $200 underwriting for travel expenses for those who stay in the conference hotel - the Crowne Plaza in Addison Texas.

I have been requested to provide a list of names as soon as possible. Big (D)esign is providing 5 scholarships and 3 have been assigned, so we have two left.   If you or anyone you know is qualified and interested in attending a web design conference with these incentives, please respond, as requested offline to knowb...@knowbility.org with your information and reasons for attending. 

Big(D)esign will have ASL on demand and CART for the keynotes as well as alternative formats for low vision and blindness. If you have a disability and are interested, please let us know ASAP.

    It's  Wm. Keith Page,  you may have noticed I am diligently increasing my academic and computer skills as of late.

Yes: I am interested

As you know I live here in Dallas. I would not need to stay at a hotel.

Is there an itinerary for the Big(D) event? I use D.A.R.T. public transportation

[As I can no longer drive.]So I will need to know all times and such.
