Hello

I am planning to do simulation of power integration based SMPS  : der-953q-100-w-power-supply-replacing-12-v-battery-400-v-bev-system-using-innoswitch3-aq-900-v-powigan-switch

Below is link

I am planning to make New library of this particular power int, simulation files, simulation model, kicad_pro, footprints, pcb in 2layer, 4 layer and 6 layer , and its gerber files.

I m new and told to post first here, if I want my contribution to be added.

I m still working on this. I need some comment.

Hi Abhishek,

I'm not sure what you mean by "new library".  Libraries in KiCad typically refer to symbols, footprints, 3D models, and templates.  KiCad does not yet support design reuse other than creating project templates.  If you want to submit your project as a template, all files included in the template must be distributed under the Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 4.0 License.  If you have proprietary files (which includes almost all simulation model files), they cannot legally be redistributed with the KiCad template library.  I suppose you could create links to any proprietary files in the symbols.

Regards,

Wayne

Hello
By library, I meant the same thing which KiCad means and except templates, I meant to design  symbols, footprints, 3D model.

KiCad does not yet support design reuse other than creating project templates.   No problem

If you want to submit your project as a template, all files included in the template must be distributed under the Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 4.0 License.   Yes

If you have proprietary files (which includes almost all simulation model files), they cannot legally be redistributed with the KiCad template library.
Not proprietary file but designed by me, so  I can do with Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 4.0 License.

Anyway,  I have got and would decide soon, Thanks
