Help squash bugs for V9!

Hi developers list,

We have a long list of open bugs[1], some of them big and some of them small.

Since we are in feature freeze for V9, now is a great time to go through and see if any of them are something you want to take on!  If you have joined this list but haven't contributed any code to KiCad yet, consider looking at the ones tagged "starter", that (we think) are things that can be solved with less experience with the codebase.

If you plan to take on a bug, just leave a comment on the relevant issue saying so, and we'll assign it to you.

Hello Jon,

the list is getting even longer. 2 colleagues and I are currently systematically searching V9 for bugs.
It would be nice if new MRs could be reviewed and merged more quickly. Thank you.

Hi Jan,

From a quick check, it looks like the MRs you have open appear to be for new features rather than bugfixes, which is probably why they are not getting reviewed quickly as we are in feature freeze.  If we missed some that are bug fixes, please let me know.

Hi Jan! 

First, thank you for both finding and fixing so many bugs.  Your help has been invaluable!

If I missed a MR that you've submitted, feel free to let me know by tagging me in the MR and I'll get to it quickly if it's in my wheelhouse or redirect if not.  I've been a bit slow due to KiCon traveling this past week but we'll be back in regular form shortly
