Hi all

Can loading symbols from an altium .schlib file be made so the alias name doesn't have to match with the exact capital letters of the symbol in the altium file?
Streams and storages are case-insensitive in Altium files so I think it can be made case-insensitive here as well.

We're currently trying to load symbols from a database where the schematic symbol column contains the symbols all in lower case. This doesn't necessarily match with the name in the .schlib file because of capital letters.

I've already implemented this change on a fork and it seems to be working.
Should I submit this as a pull request?

Kind regards,
- Zenn

Definitely make a Merge Request with this change.  We'll look at the modified behavior and if it doesn't break other things, we can merge it for 9.0.1.

It would also be good to include a QA test case to show what was broken and how your change fixes it.
