Unfortunately it looks like we are going to miss our planned 7.0.0
release date of January 31st. Packaging wxPython for our Ubuntu PPA is
proving more difficult than expected. As soon as we have this issue
resolved, we intent to release one week later. Hopefully we will get
this issue resolved in the next day or so and we can release 7.0.0 in
the first or second week of February.
