Nobles,
As mentioned during the stated meeting Monday, we received an invitation from our Manassas neighbor, Michael Post, Owner/Director of the Baker-Post Funeral Home, to participate in a community Vendor Fair. This is an awesome opportunity to get involved in the Manassas area to let everyone know that THE KENA SHRINERS have arrived!
The event is a community Vendor Fair, which currently has over 30 vendors with tables and a food truck participating. They are expecting to get to at least 40 total vendors, and have done some really good advertising in and around the area.
We need and would like each unit/club to participate to promote, Kena- who we are and what we do for the community. This means bringing out our parade equipment (mini-corvettes, yacht club boat, hospital vans, etc.) and getting as many Nobles out there to show off your uniforms and make-up (Klowns) as this will help make our first impression with the Manassas community a huge success!
Come on out, have some fun and support your Shrine in Manassas. Then get your boots on and mosey back to 9001 Arlington Blvd for the Camel herd “Boot Scoot”, which is scheduled for that evening. This promises to be a fun-filled day!
