Jandroid installation

I thought I'd have another go at installing J on a mobile (cellphone) - now
that I've got one with a spare bit of memory - but forget how to set about
it.

Couldn't find it just now and need to go out - I'd welcome a tip on how to
find and install it for when I get back to emails in an hour or two.

Hi Mike,

you just download the APK from this URL for the latest beta:

https://www.jsoftware.com/download/j9.6/install/

or for j9.5:

https://www.jsoftware.com/download/j9.5/install/

Installing that file should work, but you will be prompted to allow installing APK's outside of the play store.

Thanks to Jan-Pieter & Bill-  I'd found the web-page mentioning 

Windows, MacOs, Linux etc & Raspberry, and naturally (?) expected 

to see Android there too.  Had some idea it was findable in Play Store,  

but no luck.  I looked for J Language and did find a Jehovah's 

Witnesses app,  as well as Java stuff.

I'll try the installation tomorrow & see how it goes.

Yes,  it did install,  with fairly heavy grumbling from Android about security 

risks; there was something about this level (14) of Android not allowing 

this s/w; my first attempt failed,  but I managed to override 2 or 3 system 

and/or avast objections 2nd time around.
