Hi

I just installed J9.6.3 on a newly purchased Windows laptop.

I can't remember how to turn on the feature that checks that you really want to close J when I inadvertently press the "close" button? I rely on this "last chance" as I have lost much work in the past due to closing J prematurely!

Thanks

Edit|Configure|Qt Ide has two relevant entries: ConfirmClose and
EscClose. Defaults are:

# ConfirmClose=false confirm session close
# EscClose=false if Esc will close a window

Incidentally, if you do your work in scripts, then any time you run a
script from Jqt it is saved and a snapshot taken. This way you not
only have the permanent copy, but you can recover earlier versions in
the day.
