The search for a reasonably cost effective J agentic coding continues:

According to the Anthropic website Fable is being moved out of subscriptions and its use will be pay as you go: $10/1M input tokens; $50/1M output tokens. So those of you enjoying the use of Fable for their J programming experimentation cost is about to become a factor as the $20/month pro plan will no longer give you access. That will end starting on July 13, 2026.
