Locale names change in behaviour from j9.6 to j9.7

Change in behaviour from j9.6 to j9.7

 

In j9.6 the following works:

  A_x_ =: i. 12

B_y_ =: i. 2 3

Same holds for locale names u,v,m.n

 

In J9.7 the above cause J to close.

 

Same for cocreate <’x’

Fixed for next beta.  No workaround.  The recent rearrangement of NAME blocks had this unintended effect.
