could in J  nb. work like NB. ?

At this stage supporting nb. would break much code that looks for NB. only.  I wonder if the syntax highlighter could give a special garish color to undefined control words.

It could:

Define the garish color for all control words, override that for defined control words (including a wildcard for the for_name. construct).

I forget the order that qt applies its rules (first match or last match), but I remember it's sequential.
