Apparent fault on Debug using $: on Mac

Running debug produces the message:

"Unable to get representation of: 

Abc"

When Abc is:

Abc =: 1 2 3 &$: : (4 : 0)

x + y

)

It is probably not related, but the installation of J also produced an error messages:

. not found: plot.ijs. But could easily find the ws.

. Error when loading startup.ijs. I also loaded this file manually.

Of course, I also had to fiddle with the security settings before installing J.  

All this leads me to wonder if my Macbook Air install is optimal.

The issue with debug is now fixed. Please upgrade debug using the
following commands in Jqt:

load 'pacman'
'update' jpkg ''
'upgrade' jpkg 'ide/qt'
NB. Restart Jqt.

Could you share a bit more detail on the issues you saw with plot.ijs
and startup.ijs?
