I've just got Gemini 1.5 Flash Command Line  working inside a J console and it is a joy. You intermingle J code, execute it and ask for help all in the one screen. Maybe a bit buggy but you can always verify it on the spot . It is like having your own Ken Iverson in the room.  If anyone is interested just ask.

Very interested in seeing how you integrated this. I was thinking of a J agent running in JHS so I could access it from my usual account but have all changes performed on the JHS server account with any changes isolated to that account. This would probably be the jump start I need to code it up.

Hello Tom,
You need a google cloud account from from Google AI studio This gives you an API key which in my case I stash in my ./bashrc file. I'm on Debian 12. There is a python bridge and some python prerequisites you may have to load. I just asked Gemini gui to talk me through the steps. It took about an hour of administrative messing around. Gemini claims that I will not be able to exhaust the $300 free trial before the 90 days is up.  You should specify in your Gemini standard info file J software and the level .
