New to Washington

Hi my name is Brandon, I am new to Washington (from Texas) and was a part of the makerspace in Dallas before i moved to houston and then lived too far to be a part of the space in houston. I am currently looking for work in Seattle,Bremerton and Silverdale, but saw that there was a way to get a key to the space by giving time? I am quite interested since all i have right now is time and no facility/tools to make or do anything. Also looking to make new friends since the only person i know in this entire state is my girlfriend.
