IU weather balloon launch tomorrow - Wed 27 May

[IU Weather Balloon Announcements Group]

Hello friends,

The IU weather balloon team expects to release a balloon tomorrow, Wednesday 27 May, targeting the 18 UTC / 2 pm EDT data cycle.

Balloons are normally released approx. 30 minutes prior to the listed time.  Please keep in mind that inclement weather or equipment issues may cause us to scrap a launch with no warning.

This balloon is in support of a workshop on campus this week, and if the Wednesday release is scrapped, our scheduled alternate time would be either:
- Thursday 28th, 8 a.m. EDT, or
- Friday 29th, 8 a.m. EDT

If there are questions, please reach out to one of the team members as this email list address is not monitored for replies.
