Maple League Fall Book Club: The Norton Guide to Equity-Minded Teaching (REGISTRATION OPEN)

The Maple League Teaching and Learning Committee invites you to join us in this fall’s Maple League Book Club where we'll be reading: The Norton Guide to Equity-Minded Teaching by Isis Artze-Vega, Flower Darby, Bryan Dewsbury and Mays Imad.
Registration is free and open to all.

The deadline to register is end-of-day on Friday, September 19th.
We invited past Book Club participants to vote on what we'd read this summer and this book was the runaway winner – and we can see why: “The Norton Guide to Equity-Minded Teaching offers concrete steps to help any instructor striving to ensure that all students—and, in particular, historically underserved students—have an equal chance for success. Here you’ll find actionable tips, grounded in research, for teaching college classes online, in person, and everywhere in between.”
We've got four sections of the book club which we hope will fit into your schedule:
Tuesdays 1-2 (ET)/2-3 (AT) [Sep. 23; Oct. 7, 21; Nov. 4, 18; Dec. 2]
Wednesdays 2-3 (ET)/3-4 (AT) [Sep. 24; Oct. 8, 22; Nov. 5, 19; Dec. 3]
Thursdays 10-11 (ET)/11-12 (AT) [Sep. 25; Oct. 9, 23; Nov. 6, 20; Dec. 4]
Fridays 11-12 (ET)/12-1 (AT) [Sep. 26; Oct. 10, 24; Nov. 7, 21; Dec. 5]
The book club will meet every-other-week for six sessions this fall, starting the week of September 22nd, no reading required for the first meeting.
