Dear colleagues,
I'm happy to share that the Grading Conference is accepting abstracts for this year's gathering, and registration is now open! The virtual conference will be held via Zoom
June 16-18, 2026. See below for further details.
Keynotes
This year, we are excited to welcome three stellar keynote speakers:
-
Sarah Silverman, Ph.D., an independent faculty developer and instructor of Disability Studies,
-
Brie Tripp, Ph.D., an Associate Professor of Teaching in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at the University of California, Davis,
-
Jesse Stommel, Ph.D., a faculty member in the Writing Program at University of Denver and co-founder of Digital Pedagogy Lab and Hybrid Pedagogy: the journal of critical digital pedagogy
Call for Abstracts
The Grading Conference will support four presentation formats in 2026 (posters, talks, workshops, and panel discussions). With the exception of panel discussions, each presentation format includes several different types of papers that we encourage for submission.
For
more details on paper types, session formats, and evaluation criteria, see our website.
Abstracts are due February 13, 2026, by 11:59 pm Pacific Time. We anticipate sending decisions on or before March 30.
Registration and Institutional Registration
Registration is $75 for faculty and staff and $35 for students, though we are proud to once again offer a pay-what-you-can option to provide increased access to the conference.
If you anticipate 10 or more participants attending from your institution, we can offer a discount through an institutional registration. We will set up a private registration page for you to circulate among your institution, and invoice a single (discounted)
fee based on the number of participants. To set this up or for more information, contact us at
in...@thegradingconference.com.
Best,
