Seeking proposals for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Education conference

Hello ISSOTL colleagues- I hope it is appropriate to share this RFP with this group. While the conference topic is not SoTL, we certainly hope that you will consider sharing your expertise in SoTL related to supporting the success of all learners. I am so fortunate to work for a university in the US that is committed to advancing DEI and your support of our efforts is appreciated.

Gwynedd Mercy University is pleased to solicit proposals for the 6th Annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Education Conference. This free virtual conference will be held in Zoom on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (US), focused on the theme “Supporting the Success of All Learners.” This event will bring together thought leaders, practitioners, and advocates to discuss how the success of all learners can be supported in both K-12 and higher education settings. This conference aims to inspire action, foster understanding, and build a network of practitioners and advocates dedicated to supporting the success of all learners.  

• Presentation proposals will address: Practices and initiatives that support the success of all learners in K-12, higher education, or community settings. These may include institutional, instructional, or co-curricular/community strategies. 
• Plans and strategies to address challenges in supporting the success of all learners 

Proposals will be accepted through Monday, February 2, 2026, and the program presentations will be selected by the end of February. Please feel free to share this information with others who may be interested. We hope you will join us in making a meaningful impact!
