I spoke at the ACCU conference about writing games in very modern C++. I was using the 2D API being proposed by Mike McLaughlin. I'm now co-authoring, and I would be grateful if you could try out the reference implementation.

I was also on the Grill The Committee panel; I recently pledged not to serve on all male panels without drawing attention to the lack of women, so this was my first chance to honour my pledge, which I did by wearing a T-shirt (link in the video comments)
