The Music Technology team at Sony's Tokyo R&D center is looking for a full-time Research Scientist with a passion for music generation and machine learning.

At Sony, we are exploring various topics in music technology including music source separation, intelligent music production, and MIR tasks.

Thus, as a Research Scientist, you will investigate and apply novel deep generative algorithms that combine these fields in areas such as music generation, music inpainting or automatic sonification.

The workplace language is English and, based in Tokyo, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other Sony research teams and Sony business groups such as Sony CSL, Sony Music, Sony Pictures and Sony Interactive Entertainment.
