ISMIR (conference) and TISMIR (journal)

Dear ISMIR Community,

As many of you know, apart from the annual ISMIR (International Society for Music Information Retrieval) conference, the Society also has a journal, the Transactions of ISMIR (https://transactions.ismir.net).    This year, in collaboration with the ISMIR Board and ISMIR 2024 organizers, we have decided to pilot a plan of allowing authors of recently published TISMIR papers to present a poster of their paper at the ISMIR 2024 conference.

The conditions for this year are as follows:

• Authors of papers published between 1 June 2023 and 31 May 2024 are eligible
• Presenters would need to register for the ISMIR conference by the author registration deadline, specifying the paper number of any eligible TISMIR paper they would like to present
  
• Presentations can be onsite or online, in keeping with the goal of making ISMIR 2024 as inclusive as possible
  

And if all goes well, a similar offer would continue in future years.
