The School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh invites applications for various roles in the new Biomedical Data Intelligence Hub. This initiative will support our breadth of research in AI for quantitative biology and biomedicine.
The Hub will operate as a support unit providing advanced data science, AI and machine learning capabilities for projects with cutting-edge data modalities, including cellular, genomic, medical imaging, neural, healthcare, and molecular data. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a team environment and care deeply about well-designed data models and algorithms.
Our aim is to build a unique team that can dive into a range of problem spaces and computational methods. The Hub will work on a range of goal-orientated projects with diverse data sources and requirements agreed with project owners, and with close multidisciplinary interactions across the university.
