Dear all,

we are pleased to announce our upcoming online course “Introduction to Machine Learning with R”, taking place on 16–20 February 2026.

This course provides a hands-on introduction to multivariate statistics and machine learning for the analysis of complex biological and multi-omics datasets. Participants will learn how to apply supervised and unsupervised ML methods in R, understand their strengths and limitations, and integrate them into real research workflows.

The program combines short lectures with practical exercises, focusing on tools such as tidymodels, regression and classification methods, random forests, boosting, PCA, UMAP, and more. Time will also be dedicated to discussion and interaction around participants’ own data.
