Call for Short Papers CIBB 2025

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that the Call for Short Paper Submissions for the 20th edition of the Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CIBB) conference is open!

CIBB 2025 will take place at Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, from September 10th to 12th, 2025. As a multidisciplinary forum, CIBB brings together researchers applying computational approaches to challenges in bioinformatics, biostatistics, and medical informatics.

We invite researchers to submit short papers (4-6 pages) presenting original research. The submission deadline is April 30th, 2025. In addition to the three main tracks—Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, and Medical Informatics—CIBB 2025 will feature Special Sessions dedicated to emerging and specialized topics.

All submissions will undergo peer review, and accepted papers presented at the conference will be invited for extended versions in the Springer Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) or a selected journal. We are currently in discussions with Frontiers and BMC for additional publication opportunities.
