PhD on Deep Learning and Computational Pathology in Cancer at University of Glasgow.
The School of Computing Science and Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute at University of Glasgow are inviting applications to a PhD position (4 year funding) to work on deep learning (e.g. representation learning, self-supervised learning, multimodal integration) in computational pathology, with a particular focus on mesothelioma (a lethal cancer of lung, https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/mesothelioma).
The successful candidate will work with Dr Ke Yuan (https://kyuanlab.org/) and John Le Quesne (https://www.beatson.gla.ac.uk/The-Beatson-Institute-Research-Groups/john-lequesne.html) and a team of computer scientists, academic pathologists and clinicians exploring frontiers of methodology development and translational discovery.
